and our food

The idea behind Dynamit was that we wanted to create a restaurant, with Spanish produce but make it into something else. Something you can’t find in Malaga, a second living room with non pretentious food. Somewhere you can relax, eat a nice dinner paired with a good wine, talk a bit with the staff and most importantly a place we would love to go ourselves.

WHO we are?

The D&D stands for Dilan (Headchef) and Devrim (Front of house) We both grew up in restaurant familys and started working in the industry quite early on. We met at a restaurant in Uppsala, Sweden, our home town where we worked together, after a bit of time we both decided that we needed a change and booked a one way ticket to Longyearbyen, Svalbard were we worked at a small sushi place.

After a lot of years working for other people, an evening in Longyearbyen (after a few glasses of cava I might ad) the idea of Dynamit was born.

We went on a visit to Devrims father in Málaga a few weeks after, and that was it. Just 6 months after that visit we moved, and started looking for a space where we could make our vision come to life. We opened the doors the 19th of August 2020 and here we are!
